Bislang wurden allerdings nur rund 40.000 Fahrzeuge ausgeliefert. Die Produktion musste deshalb schon gedrosselt werden. Doch das reicht nicht: Tesla schraubt jetzt an den Konditionen, um den Ladenhüter an die Kunden zu bringen. Cybertruck zum Dumping-Zins Wie das Fachblatt Electrek meldet, senkt Tesla den Finanzierungszins für den Cybertruck von 6 auf 1,99 Prozent. So hoffe man, im ersten Quartal 2025 zumindest noch 10.000 Fahrzeuge verkaufen zu können; hochgerechnet aufs ganze Jahr wären das dann wieder nur rund 40.000 Stück. Das reiche nicht mal aus, um die Entwicklungskosten für den Cybertruck wieder reinzuholen, so Electrek. Gerüchten zufolge wollte Tesla eine abgespeckte Variante irgendwann nach Europa bringen. Das dürfte wohl bis auf Weiteres vom Tisch sein.
